The Second Life Actor Network is a set of conventions and
protocol for communicating between scripts in Second Life.
It unifies the communications methods in what will
hopefully be a low overhead fashion. I am developing it to
support my work in building three layer architecture robots
in Second Life.
Currently a work in progress, Rev. 1 of the specification
will be published shortly.
2008-11-23 Update: "Shortly" has unfortunately turned into
"longly" as I started on a rewrite to match the new
capabilities in the LSL VM upgrade and get deeper into
Cobalt/Croquet development. It isn't abandoned, I'm
continuing to work on it.
